उत्तराखंडात.. धनोल्टी पार्क.

धनोल्टी पार्क मध्ये बरीच मुले पार्कच्या परिसरातील हॊटेलचे मेनू कार्ड हातात घेऊन कुणाला चहा/कॉफी हवी आहे का विचारत फिरत होते.

पार्क मध्ये काही वेळ घालवल्यावर एका शाळेची ट्रीप तिथे आली. And the park wasn't quiet anymore.. सगळी मुले धावत-ओरडत पार्कमध्ये शिरली. सगळीकडे नुस्ता कल्लोळ. The kids were running and rushing to play everywhere. Looking at the huge herd of school kids i realized how big this place was.

As other kids were busy going berserk, this kid stood still.. observing something. I looked in the direction he was looking at but couldn't figure out what interested him.

त्या चहा विचारणाऱ्या मुलांमधील काही मुले त्या शाळेतल्या मुलांमध्ये जाऊन खेळायला लागली तर काही हातात मेनू कार्ड घेऊन त्यांना एकटक पाहत राहिली.
 

उत्तराखंडात.. अब्जित.

हॉटेलच्या  दिशेने परत येत असताना मला वाटेत हे दोघे hand-pump जवळ खेळताना दिसले. मी त्यांचा फोटो काढतोय हे पाहून ते एक मेकांच्या मागे लपायला लागले. As i approached them this young kid Abjeet turned to me.. आणि मला नमस्कार करत तो म्हणाला, "Good morning sir". मी त्याला good morning विष केलं. "आज school नाही है?" मी त्याला विचारले. "नाही, vacation चालू है", तो उत्तरला. ह्या छोट्या दोस्तांना bye केले आणि मी निघालो.

उत्तराखंडात.. an old beggars abode.

The day before, i had seen an old beggar whom i wanted to photograph but i couldn't as we were in the car. So i set out early in the morning the next day to find him. After walking for what seemed about 3 kilometers from the hotel i found him. asleep!
